The Grooming Room

 The Barking Lot has opened a second location inside of Fin & Feather!!

 The Barking Lot is owned and operated by Steve Boschen who started his grooming career here at Fin & Feather back in 1972.  After working for other people for a number of years he decided to open the The Barking Lot in 1990.   Mr. Boschen has over 38 years experience in grooming.     In 2009 The Barking Lot was the editors pick in the Richmond Magazine for the best grooming shop in Richmond.   Tracie Johnson who has 18 years of experience will be grooming at the Fin & Feather location.

The Barking Lot grooms all breeds of dogs and cats.  At the Fin & Feather location only small dogs (up to 35Ibs) will be groomed.  We are willing to work with you on the size as long as we are not booked and have space.  For larger dogs and cats call the main location of The Barking Lot at 358-4038.  The main shop is located at 606 N. Belmont Ave. Richmond, Va. 23221
